Celebrate the Endangered Monarch Butterfly

The second annual Mamaroneck Monarch Butterfly Festival will be held at Harbor Island Park on September 30, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (with a rain date of October 1). Co-hosted by Village of Mamaroneck’s Committee for the Environment and its Recreation Department, this event promises to be fun and informative for the entire family. Guests will enjoy educational activities, arts and crafts, music, food, giveaways and more.

There will also be a costume contest, so festival-goers are encouraged to dress as their favorite pollinator, such as butterflies, bees, beetles, wasps, bats and hummingbirds. Attendance is free, but online tickets are required. As a note, there will be no live butterflies at the festival, unless attendees catch a glimpse of them flying to Mexico.

Location: 60-98 Harbor Island Park, Mamaroneck, NY. For more information, email [email protected] and for mobile eTickets (required), visit Tinyurl.com/monarch-butterfly-festival.
