How would you describe your studio or practice (what’s the vibe)? If I had to choose a few words to describe us: welcoming, laid back, grounding, supportive. It is our mission to hold a safe and empowering space for all; to gather, connect, reset and learn how to tap into the present moment. As a community, we encourage and support one another to reach our highest potential both on and off our mats. We encourage our yogis to “go with the flow,” to move through their practice with intention and purpose and to learn how to connect with themselves—physically, mentally and spiritually. Each teacher has their own vibe, but overall, you’ll find fun and upbeat playlists, space to move at your own pace surrounded by our studio plants, the opportunity to challenge yourself (and your core!) and tap into your strength. You’ll always find a friend here at Luna Power Yoga. Plus, you’ll find fun and upbeat playlists, space to move at your own pace, the opportunity to challenge yourself (and your core!) and tap into your strength.

What types of yoga classes do you offer and what is their capacity? We offer Vinyasa-based classes—each of our teachers carry with them a different style and background—and each class is capped at 12 and has its own individual flare. We are relocating to a larger studio, ensuring we keep our tight-knit community vibe!

What sets your studio apart from others? We collaborate with mental health and wellness professionals in the community for workshops. It’s a great way to make wellness services more accessible and affordable, not to mention connect with like-minded neighbors. Additionally, we offer private and small group yoga classes, events and corporate yoga.

Do you offer online/virtual classes? We offer two, livestreamed classes during the week via Zoom, Tuesday and Thursday at noon. These are awesome for anyone working from home or at the office during their lunch break and are looking for a mid-day treat.

Do you offer teacher training? Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is in the works! We have started the process and are taking our time to carefully curate a cumulative and accessible curriculum that encompasses a thorough and holistic training program.

How has the practice of yoga changed your life, personally? Yoga has provided me with the tools to connect with myself, to breathe, to embrace change and go with the flow. Yoga has strengthened my understanding of the world around me and deepened my relationship with myself and those I encounter in life.
