On May 16, 2015, Quest Yoga Arts in Mount Kisco, NY, will host a day of free community classes taught by its first class of teacher trainees.

“We are so excited to be graduating our first set of teachers who embarked on this journey last October,” says owner Laura Jensen, who took over the studio in June 2013. “The Quest community has grown and flourished over the past two years, especially since we introduced our Yoga Alliance-certified 200-hour yoga teacher-training program with Wendy Hagen last year.  You can expect to see these new instructors on the class schedule this fall, offering their own unique style of classes to the community.”

Class times on May 16 are 8:30, 9:45 and 11 a.m.; and 1, 2:15 and 3:30 p.m. Anyone is welcome to join these one-hour Level 1 classes throughout the day. Quest will also be offering a free information session at noon for its next teacher-training program, which starts in October. Refreshments and snacks will be served, and discounts on class cards will be offered. “We encourage everyone to come take a class—or three—with one of our great new teachers, and stay for the info session,” Jensen says.
