May 7 Presentation on Heart-Brain Connection: May 7, at 7 p.m

Julie Johns

Julie Johns, of Heart Wisdom Health Coaching, will give a presentation on the heart-brain connection May 7, at 7 p.m., via Zoom.us and phone. She’ll discuss her own experience with mending that connection, and how it has impacted her health and her ability to make healthier choices and help others do the same.

“The heart has its own neurological cells that communicate with the brain,” Johns says. “When we include our heart’s wisdom when making choices that affect our health, we come into alignment with our highest self, our deepest essence. Our mind, body and heart become allies and friends instead of separated parts, which love to make their own, fear-based decisions. It’s like having a joint partnership with that part of ourselves that is capable of unconditional love.” During her presentation, she will talk about how a health coach can help clients come into alignment and make wisdom-based decisions. “With so much information available about this health hack or that diet, it gets confusing really fast,” she says. “You can learn to cut the chatter and consult with your real-life expert—you.”

Johns has a master’s degree in health education and promotion. She is a certified health education specialist, a certified coach with the International Coach Federation and Newfield Network, a certified integrative nutrition health coach and a certified Cancer Journey coach.

The presentation will be available online at Zoom.us/j/166701346, or by phone at 646.876.9923 or 669.900.6833, meeting ID number 166 701 346. For more info, contact Johns at [email protected] or 845.581.0909.
