Spring Cider Week

Cider Week New York
for this spring runs May 5 through
14, 2023. Cideries and restaurants in every region of the state will be pouring, tasting
and enjoying cider with tastings, orchard tours, chef and cider pairings, cider
markets and more.
This event is
produced by the New York Cider Association and has been celebrated for more
than 10 years. With over 120 producers making over 5 million gallons of cider
every year, New York continues to rank first in the country for the number of
cider producers and second for apple growers. The industry has seen
unprecedented growth over the past 10 years and now has a $1.7 billion total
economic impact to the state economy.
Scott Ramsey,
executive director of the New York Cider Association, says, “Cider has always
been a mainstay for the fall, but there are so many ways to enjoy cider
throughout the year. Celebrating Cider Week New York in the spring gives us the
chance to think about bringing the best of local cider to our events, menus and
gatherings during the spring and summer, too. Cider is not just for the fall
anymore!”
