Retreat For Trauma Recovery
Stress Is Gone will conduct a five-day trauma recovery retreat, Overcome Trauma, Tension & Anxiety, from June 11 through 16, 2023, at Omega Institute for Holistic Studies educational retreat center, in Rhinebeck. CEO Brett Cotter, author and founder of Stress Is Gone, has more than 20 years’ experience helping people let go. He specializes in group facilitation, one-on-one coaching and guided meditation.
Within an engaging group format, participants heal emotional pain and trauma through collective release work, direct coaching, music, movement and meditation. This retreat offers the opportunity to heal emotional pain from traumatic memories, feel tension and emotion release from the body and reconnect with joy, peace and personal power. Cotter intuitively surfaces the source of each person’s stress, which usually stems from childhood. Then he guides the group through empowering affirmations to release the pain from the body and the memory.
Cotter explains, “You can expect to dissolve hidden blocks to self-love, end cycles of self-sabotage, feel uplifted, empowered and most important, reconnected to yourself.” Participants will also learn new tools to help reduce stress forever. Cotter’s lighthearted, compassionate teaching style makes it easy for everyone to engage and apply these powerful techniques.
Accredited by the International Mindfulness & Meditation Alliance and The Meditation Organization, Cotter has received training from the Himalayan Institute and a Shaolin grand master. His approach is a blend of Eastern and Western philosophies. Cotter is also certified by the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and National Center for Crisis Management.
Participants receive lifetime access into the Stress Is Gone Academy, including three meditation classes each week, one weekly live training, the masterclass, the workbook, mobile app and access to the Stress Is Gone community of like-minded people.
This is an all-inclusive retreat which includes food, lodging, retreat activities and more. Pricing starts at $1,000, depending on the housing option selected. Location: 150 Lake Dr., Rhinebeck, NY.
